Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great speaker, bad battery Always loved the sound quality from harman kardon, that is what got me to purchase the portable speaker. Speaker has great base, including mids and highs. The down side to this speaker and maybe it could be just this one particular is the battery life is not as described. It gets a low rating in my book due to needing an outlet to keep the music going.

I use a new macbook pro and the speaked is 1 meter away from the computer and stil 50% of the times i have to turn it off and on again, reconect etc...

Can two of these be paired for stereo L and R channels or just paired or linked in a normal way?Thanks.

Unfortunately, Onyx 3 can only be linked to two Onyx 3, and no stereo. Wish HK could upgrade the firmware but again business wise, they better sell Onyx 4.

I have Onyx Studio 3 sometimes it play discontinous. No matter which device android or windows. It's saying its version is 3 - 5. Are there any firmware for it?

It`s happening when 2 devices are connected in the same time. For reproduce the sound of the device #1, stop the device #2.

How do you leave it plugged in and play music at the same time? because mine does not play when it's plugged in unless I unplug it.

I have one too and it works: try to plug it in to charge and, after that, press again the start button. See if the light goes on and if it does the sound it usually does when it's starting. If yes, it will work. Maybe you will need to reconnect the bluetooth.
