The Harman Kardon® BDS 877 will transform the way you enjoy movies and music. This full-featured system includes a 5.1-channel 3D Blu-ray Disc™ player (which also plays CDs and DVDs) with three HDMI® inputs and one output (including Audio Return Channel), an FM receiver, wireless audio streaming via Bluetooth, Apple AirPlay compatibility, four voice-matched satellite loudspeakers, a center-channel loudspeaker with dual flat-panel midrange drivers and a powered subwoofer with an integral 200-watt amplifier with a wireless receiver module for easy placement and setup.

The result is a powerful system that provides full-range, enveloping sound throughout a large, 360-degree listening area. Built-in Dolby® TrueHD and DTS-HD™ surround-sound decoding ensures that the BDS 877 reproduces movies and music from virtually any source, including online sources such as YouTube and Picasa, as well as iPod and other Apple mobile devices via a convenient front-panel USB port.

Five 65-watt-per-channel power amplifiers

The BDS 877’s five amplifiers, rated at 65 watts per channel, power the left, right, center and two surround loudspeakers, all of which feature voice-matched, flat-panel drivers and CMMD® dome tweeters for consistent sound from speaker to speaker. This amplifier-speaker combination dramatically improves the clarity and realism of directional sounds, even at high listening levels.

Space-saving, wireless 200-watt powered subwoofer

Unlike conventional, front-firing subwoofers, the BDS 877’s 200-watt, 8-inch (200-millimeter) powered sub fires downward, interacting with the floor for enhanced bass response. Installing the sub is a breeze with the included wireless transmitter that connects to the BDS receiver. Volume, phase and bass-boost controls make it easy to synchronize bass output with the satellites and then fine-tune the system’s performance to match your room acoustics and personal preferences.

Apple AirPlay music streaming

HDMI technology with 3D and Audio Return Channel

Reads Blu-ray Disc, DVD and CD recordings

The BDS 877’s surround-sound system handles all of your entertainment sources on both 5-inch (127-millimeter) and 3-inch (76-millimeter) disc formats, including BD-Video (single/double-layer), DVD-Video, DVD+R/+RW, DVD-R/-RW, CDDA (Compact Disc Digital Audio) and CD-R/RW discs.

Enhanced EzSet/EQ calibration

No receiver operates in a vacuum. The BDS 877 calibrates itself to its specific speaker system. Its enhanced EzSet/EQ feature automatically adjusts individual speaker volume levels, delay and equalization to create optimum performance in any room.
