Go + Play Wireless is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Speakers I bought this because my old Go + Play (not Bluetooth) got wet and crashed. I didn't think I'd like the Bluetooth too much, but we LOVE it. I like this because it has the AUX port in the back so we can plug in our TV for sound. And the sound is just plain great Harman Kardon quality. It far outweighs Bose. Love Bose and have a mini Bluetooth, but honestly, this system provides rich, full sound.

can you pair this with another unit

Asked by: blass
Yes, the Wireless Dual Sound feature of the GO + PLAY only allows connection of up to two speakers. The Wireless Dual Sound feature only allows connection of speakers with this feature such as the ONYX STUDIO 3, ONYX MINI and the GO + PLAY. Follow these steps in initiating the wireless dual sound feature: 1. Pair your device(i.e Phone, Laptop, Etc...) to your GO + PLAY. 2. Once the device is paired, switch the other speaker ON. 3. Press and hold the Bluetooth button on the GO + PLAY that is paired with your device for at least 7-10 seconds or until you see the Bluetooth button blink initiating wireless dual pairing mode. 4. Go to the other speaker and perform step 3. 5. You will hear a notification sound if both speakers have been paired together.

Hi. Recently I can't connect via bluetooth. I've tried everything on my phone etc. but still nothing works. Is there another solution here? Can I upgrade the firmware on my Play+, and if so, how is this done? Thanks

Asked by: chrizcringle
Didn't get much help from the Harman Kardon support, but after testing out all different solutions through 3 weeks, I finally got the Bluetooth connection to work. I'm posting this so if there's other customers that don't get the expected help from Harman Kardon they can reefer to my solution. What fixed the problem (nobody and no unit could connect) was to take out the batteries. It wasn't running on batteries, but the unit was connected to the power-cord the whole time. Nevertheless removing the batteries and trying to connect a few times (didn't work at first attempt) seemed to strangely enough fix the problem.

I am looking forward to buy this speaker but my concern is about its battery life. Is this device recharchable or do I have to use D-cell battery for everytime using it?

Asked by: Milad
Hi Thank you for your question The Harman Kardon Go + Play Wireless system uses eight type-D alkaline batteries to keep the music flowing when you’re out and about. When it’s plugged in, the system uses AC power, preserving the batteries. That way, when your social schedule takes you away from the world of wall outlets, it won’t take you away from your fine taste in music. Also we do not recommend using rechargeable cells because they give less current then regular D-cell batteries. If you have further questions do not hesitate to contact our customer support.
