The Harman Kardon Omni Bar+ needs just one cable to connect to your HD TV and lets you easily set up a wireless HD music system in your home. It also adds access to music streaming services such as Spotify Connect and Chromecast built-in. With Dolby Digital and the included Sub Woofer you can have new home theater and because it can connect to any Harman Kardon Omni+ speakers, you can easily set up a whole home wireless music system.

Note The OMNI BAR+ is intended to be used for streaming music via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi technology. This product is designed to be instantly on and ready to play music at a moment's notice, therefore, the Bluetooth and Wi-Fi must remain active at all times to ensure proper operation. The OMNI BAR+ is in compliance with the European Union energy legislation. It will enter into sleep mode (networked standby) after 10 minutes without operation, after which it can be re-activated via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Finally, quality soundbar in white! Ever noticed how hard it is to find a WHITE full-sized soundbar/sub system?? Thank you HK. Besides being happy with the color, I find this system superior to others in this price range I considered. This thing connects and streams every which way you’ll ever need (made me a believer in WiFi, instead of Bluetooth, but it’s nice still having that option if I choose). Also nice having Chromecast option if I want it in the future. The only thing missing was an ethernet port if I didn’t want to connect the bar wirelessly. I’m a bit of an audiophile and I found sound quality excellent – Maybe it’s the 24 bit/192khz spec. The sub was especially impressive given its thin dimensions. Overall build quality is excellent. Comes with all the cables and mounting accessory options you’ll ever need. The only hiccup was a delay between the soundbar and TV, however when I connected the bar to my router and installed the HK app on my Android phone, it was fixed automatically. I’m so pleased with HK’s soundbar/sub that I’m now considering expanding this to an all-house system with additional HK speakers because it looks like it’s a good system.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sound is good. Setup is pain. IR reciever is trash Sound is great, no complaints on sound quality. Trying to set it up is miserable. The manual that comes with it isnt even a manual. It just tells you what is in the box and does a light gloss over of what is on each item. The app is poorly put together, it works but feels like a rushed product. There are 2 glaring issues with this product. These things dont make not want to reccomend it, but these are things that NEED to be addressed. The sound delay. Oh God the sound delay. It's bad, it's not one of those sound delays where you ignore it after a bit and forget it's there, it's one that is noticeable and there is no obvious solution to this being that my sound delay is on both optical and wifi. And even tho they tote optical as being the best connection, there is still a really bad sound delay. The other issue, the major issue, the worst thing about this product; the IR Reciever. This thing is atrocious. You're better off getting up and using the button on the sound bar to adjust volume level. If that was it, I wouldn't call it the worst thing, what makes it the worst is that you cant adjust bass levels WITHOUT using the remote. Now you see why this is such a big issue. I cant get the receiver to register any signals unless I'm constantly rotating the receiver or having the remote literally pressed against the receiver, and even then it will only work some of the time. And now the rushed app comes back into question because you can only adjust volume of the bar with the app, not the bass. So the only way to adjust bass levels is furiously spinning the receiver with the remote being within an inch of it while you spam the +/- bass buttons and even then theres only a chance of it working and then theres no sound or light indication that you have adjusted bass levels so you just kind of hope you did

Rated 2 out of 5 by from OMNI BAR PLUS W/ 10+ I have purchase the Omni bar with Omni 10+ speakers.($1600+) its pretty easy to pair all devices and connect to a 5.1 including all to WIFI. I have a huge problem. The bar sound "perfectly" fine with out 10+. once I connect and pair them both onmi 10+ few things happen while watching TV, voice goes out for a few seconds, and or a lot static goes on.

I cannot get the subwoofer to connect to the sound bar. I have tried everything including pressing and holding the pairing buttons on both units. What can I do

Hi, please make sure that the soundbar and the subwoofer as close to each other as possible and try to pair them again, also have any devices that may cause interference away from them like a wifi router and other wireless devices. So i just bought a Omni Bar + and i have a very noticable sound delay, no matter if i use hdmi, optical or aux too connect it. please help me fix this.

Hi there, thanks for your interest. You can do so using the HK Controller App and by doing the steps below: 1 - Go to Settings &gt; Room management 2 - Select the room you wish to add additional speakers in. 3 - Select Set up multi-channel and you will be guided on how to add two OMNI+ speakers connected on the same network as surround or rear speakers. 4 - There's a page where you can drag the speakers to act as the left or right surround speaker and you would hear a confirmation sound from the selected speaker if its successful. I've read in Wireless 5.1 Surround Setup from the Omni Bar+ manual, you need to connect all the speakers (OMNI10+) to a 5GHz Wifi Network. How does it manages the audio distribution when you want a 5.1 surround experience with the HDTV (HDMI) as source

Hi there, thanks for your interest. You can do so using the HK Controller App and by doing the steps below: 1 - Go to Settings &gt; Room management 2 - Select the room you wish to add additional speakers in. S 3 - Select Set up multi-channel and you will be guided on how to add the OMNI+ speakers connected on the same network as above, with the ability to assign any other speaker already on the network to this room. 4 - Once its done, continue to Source Set-up. 5 - The final step to set up your Omni Bar+ or Omni Adapt+ is to configure the external sources. For each source, HDMI TV, Optical, or AUX-in, you will select how you plan to use this source 6 - If you are not using this source, select &ldquo;Not used.&rdquo; 7 - If you select &ldquo;Watching movies and TV shows,&rdquo; then this input will have very little delay and good lip sync with the TV for video applications. But you won&rsquo;t be able to restream this input source to other Omni speakers in your house. 8 - If you select &ldquo;Listening to music,&rdquo; then you will be able to restream this input to other Omni speakers in your house. Bus an additional delay will be added for stability, which will be unsuitable for video applications. 9 - You can change these settings later by going to Settings &gt; Manage Rooms. Find the room you wish to change, select it, and then select Source setup. You will be taken through this step again and have the chance to reconfigure the inputs. 10 - After this step, room setup is complete. You may now set up additional rooms through the same process, or start streaming music. If you have questions or concerns, please submit a case request at https://www.harmankardon.com/support-contact.html and the Customer Service Team will be more than happy to assist you.

can I set up the omni bar with subwoofer without remote controller? Also, can I control the system through mobile app without remote controller?

You can set up the omni bar and the subwoofer even without the physical remote control as you can use the top panel of the Soundbar. You can also control the Omni bar+ using the HK Controller, but only when playing songs through the internet and not when playing it through wired connection.

Hi&nbsp; can the woofer for the omnibus plus be placed flat on the floor?

Hello! Although the feet of the subwoofer can be unscrewed, we do not recommend placing it flat on the floor because the bass quality would be affected. The sound would go directly up the ceiling rather than front firing.

Hi, No, you would need Omni+ series speakers to combine with the Omni Bar+ to work as a full surround set. You can't combine the 1 generation Omni speakers in combination with any other soundbar.
